Kansas City Aviation Department Launches Rebuilt Web Site

KANSAS CITY, Mo., August 18, 2006 ? The Kansas City Aviation Department today unveiled its new and improved Web site, www.flykci.com, offering travelers the ability to search for and book airline flights, access comprehensive real-time travel, weather and parking information, educate themselves about the latest security requirements, access driving directions, and search interactive maps of the Kansas City International Airport (KCI) terminals to locate their gate and review airport services and amenities. Users can even sign up for email or test message updates on flights.

Kuhn & Wittenborn Advertising of Kansas City, Mo., partnered with Digital Evolution Group of Overland Park, Kan. to create the site. It is part of the Aviation Department?s ongoing efforts to make airline travel as convenient as possible for area travelers.

?We set out to create the most advanced Web site in the airport industry, and I believe that we have achieved our goal,? said Mark VanLoh, director, Kansas City Aviation Department. ?Whether it?s a family planning their annual vacation, or a seasoned business traveler in a hurry to get from the car to the gate, the new flykci.com is designed to help travelers quickly find the information they are looking for and to provide them with easy-to-use maps and other way-finding tools.?

?This was a great project for our team,? said Julie Robinson, senior vice president, chief operating officer of Kuhn & Wittenborn. ?It allowed us to integrate our brand-building efforts for KCI into the look and feel of the Web site, while adding functionality to the site that makes flying in and out of KCI even more convenient. I believe it will enhance our airport?s reputation as one of the most traveler-friendly in the country.?

?The collaboration with the Kansas City Aviation Department and Kuhn & Wittenborn teams was the key to our making this project such a success,? said Neal Sharma, CEO, Digital Evolution Group. ?We are especially proud of our work on the Aviation Department's Web site and know that it will be a most valuable tool for area travelers.?
